Dartmouth’s bustling waterfront, great shops and restaurants, as well as the sailing resort of Salcombe and the magnificent sandy beaches at Blackpool Sands are within easy driving distance as are Buckfast Abbey, Dartington Hall and Saltram House (NT). Dartmoor National Park’s rugged grandeur and quaint villages are a little further afield. Riding, golf and sailing are available locally. Shops and pub serving food 2 miles

Reviews
We would certainly recommend Pound Cottage, the cottage was central to exploring coast and Dartmoor, it was warm, cosy, and spotlessly clean, equipped with everything one would need. The owners were charming, and could not have made us more welcome. We will certainly visit Pound Cottage again.

Old pound cottage is the most relaxing holiday we have ever had. this beautiful cottage is set, in beautiful surroundings. Our hosts (Mike and Gerri) made our holiday from start to finish, they are a warm and friendly couple, and very helpful. We would recommend this cottage to anyone.
